Canon – Andre Lascaris on When You Find Me

In 2011, Canon USA teamed up with Academy Award winner Ron Howard to produce When You Find Me, the first Hollywood short to be inspired by a user-generated photo contest. Over 96,000 entries were assessed for the short that was directed by Ron’s daughter, Bryce Dallas Howard. The film was shot by cinematographer Andre Lascaris, giving him the opportunity to be one of the first to use the Canon digital cinema camera, the EOS C300. Blue Barn interviewed Mr. Lascaris for the Canon Digital Learning Center about his experience shooting with the C300, as well as other DSLRs. Our post-production team incorporated behind-the-scenes footage with scenes from the short, and the interview itself.
